Purchasing Manager for leading hospitality group in Central London.

Your new company
A Purchasing Manager job has become available in a well-known hotel group in Central London. This organisation is a global hospitality business, but this role is specifically delivering the purchasing requirements for a single hotel, mainly within the food & beverage categories. You will have the support of the group procurement function to leverage savings, negotiations, and relationships with key suppliers.

Your new role
As the Hotel Purchasing Manager you will be reporting into the Finance Director, and supervising the Purchasing & Cost Control team. You will be responsible for driving relationships with key suppliers in order to deliver the best quality F&B on time and in full to ensure the smooth-running of the hotel. You will be supported by Group Procurement in order to leverage great savings, as well as implementing your own agreements and sourcing strategies. You will be accountable to present your cost savings to the finance team on a regular basis and demonstrate value-add to the business.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will have experience within food & beverage purchasing in order to really benchmark the local food market which can change on a weekly basis. You will be a strong people manager in order to lead other members of the team and be responsible for performance reviews etc. You will be an approachable, charming, and knowledgeable individual in order to really understand the requirements of the business and the end consumers.
