This is a leading supplier of logistics services who provide value-added services to a wide client base. They have a requirement for a Regional Transport Manager who will manage a multi-site operation and strive to achieve customer satisfaction.

Your key focus will be the management of the transport operation to ensure timely, efficient and cost effective delivery of a variety of products. Candidates need to be highly experienced transportation professionals with well-honed operational abilities gained within an environment that sustains seasonal and promotional peaks. You will be CPC qualified and fully conversant with up-to-date legislation. Furthermore, you will have a contagious passion for Continuous Improvement - the kind of Transport Manager who constantly strives to improve operational efficiencies and fleet performance whilst minimising costs and meeting agreed service levels. Current driver and vehicle legal requirements need to be met and it will be your responsibility to ensure that procedures are in place to guarantee that they are. You will be a compelling leader who promotes a customer centric ethos and is capable of developing and motivating a large transport team to improve performance.

You will have a high degree of autonomy and will take responsibility for KPI performance; H&S; Customer Delivery; strategic and operational planning and Continuous Improvement initiatives along with P&L management and budgetary control at Regional level.
