A well established retail business have an exciting opportunity to join them as a Continuous Improvement Specialist.

Key Responsibilities of the Continuous Improvement Specialist:
  • Implementing a long term & short term continuous Improvement strategy across the business to support the business to meet key objectives.
  • Manage a number of lean projects in stores to improve operational efficiency and deliver measurable cost down improvements in the short term, while aiming to meet long term objectives.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to drive internal processes while developing LEAN methodology to the teams through workshops and training to improve operational processes at all levels.
  • Implement transformation change management across the business.
  • You will be the LEAN champion across the business and have a national remit.

Your Requirements:
  • A retail background.
  • Knowledge and experience of continuous improvement.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience and accreditation (at least Green belt).
  • The ability to measure processes and understand impact of your improvements.
  • The flexibility to work and travel to stores nationally.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to be strategic as well as hands on.
  • Ability to engage with colleagues at all levels to advise and influence decision makers to implement new methods of working.
