They are seeking a Senior Buyer / Category Buyer to join their Project Supply Chain team based in Southampton. The Senior Buyer will report directly into the Project Supply Chain Manager.
Description
Take a steering role in the local project supply chain team as well as a contributor in day to day operational buying.
Ensure clear visibility for the team in terms of assigned project and workload.
Establish, limit, maintain and develop the supplier matrix portfolio in consultation with strategic procurement, engineering, operation and service.
Drive continuous improvement within the supply base and deliver cost reduction and quality enhancement.
