Role: Senior Procurement Manager – team Lead, Corporate
Location: Middlesex
Salary: 75k + Car Allowance + Bonus

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a leading telecoms and entertainment company in the UK as a Procurement Team Lead
This role will be leading the Corporate Procurement category managing a team and be responsible for a large spend. This role places a strong emphasis on in-depth sourcing across a broad spectrum of corporate categories including Professional Services, FM, Finance, Legal, HR etc.

This support will consist of all areas of procurement including:
• lead commercial negotiations
• planning, creation and execution of sourcing exercises
• management of contractual performance of suppliers
• understanding operational data, including planning commercial analysis, producing high quality presentation material
• project managing products to ensure smooth implementation across the business
• business intelligence (product, market and supplier)

Role Responsibilities

• Manage and plan all sourcing activities in advance of business requirements, liaising as necessary with business functions to ascertain requirements
• Negotiate key commercial and contractual requirements with stakeholders to ensure cohesive approach
• Regular contact with suppliers to ensure well versed with market, product and service developments.
• Maintenance of department purchasing database, to include Cost Scenarios, Bill of Materials, Exception reporting and resolution.
• Drive the development of the strategic vision to improve operations and performance of procurement in line with best practise
• Develop and implement strategic projects in procurement practises e.g. innovation, environment & ethical policies, total cost of ownership.


Key Attributes
• Corporate Services Procurement experience is essential
• Experience of eProcurement and e-Sourcing tools.
• Analytical and financial understanding of the service cost models and lifetime cost of acquisition
• Ability to establish personal credibility with senior internal networks.
