Exciting new planning job working as a Shipper/Fleet Planner for a multinational Company - London

Your new company:
Your new job will be in a multinational building materials company based in London that manufactures and distributes cement, ready-mix concrete and aggregates in more than 50 countries.

Your new role:
Your job will consist of a number of different responsibilities including, shipping/ customer service, vehicle planning along with personal development and other duties.

Customer Service:
In this Shipping job, you will be working closely with a team and the other departments, making and receiving phone calls with clients. You will be managing and overseeing all programmed orders of products within the management system, ensuring the smooth-running of the daily shipping operations. You will need to be able to adapt and solve any customer alterations to deliveries as well as proactively resolve any customer issues with a positive solution.

Vehicle Planning:
In this job you will be overseeing the daily resource management of plant and truck utilisation within your team. Ensuring the smooth operations between hauliers and plant supervisors, planning future truck availability and unavailability.
All of which will require astute administration duties, personal development and working as part of a team to allow all KPI's to be met.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Strong Customer Service Orientation
  • Experience in logistics/ Transport
  • Computer Literate - Knowledge of SAP/ Ginco
  • General Geographical knowledge - Surrey, Kent, Dorset, West & East Sussex, Hampshire and Berkshire.
  • Construction industry experience
