Job Description
My client are a leading international business. They are now looking for an experienced purchasing professional to join their European procurement function and be responsible for all of their raw ingredients purchasing. Key responsibilities include:
Develop regional and global sourcing strategies for approval.
Lead cross strategy commodity teams to achieve material cost reduction targets, whils ensuring supplier reliability and delivery.
Serve as the lead in all mediation and problem resolution.
Work in conjunction with business units and suppliers to identify new materials to be strategically sources.
Be responsible for the supplier management process, supplier selection, supplier rating and supplier performance evaluation.

Candidates will need a Bachelors degree in a chemical or similar raw ingredients related discipline and at least 4 years procurement experience.
