My client is looking to add 3 x Sourcing Specialist to start immediately who are FM Specialists within the procurement arena, who understands a regulated procurement environment and who can hit the ground running on a 6 month interim contract

Client Details

My client is a leading nuclear organisation that are going through a large growth period who are looking for FM Procurement Specialists to join their team.


The Role
  • Sourcing and procurement role – drafting and producing Invitation to Tender documents and contract schedules based on information provided from the relevant Business Units and working with specified Crown Commercial Service boiler plate templates.
  • Further Competition lead – acting as the key interface between allocated business unit(s) and Crown Commercial Service, identifying and reporting issues and responsible for resolution for the Further Competition activity candidate is allocated to.
  • Developing evaluation award criteria and qualitative evaluation questions in accordance with Public Contract Regulations and rules specified within the Crown Commercial Service FM (RM3830) Framework.
  • Coordination of procurement activities i.e. market engagement events, site visits, tender clarification processes, evaluation preparation and training, facilitating evaluation moderation and consensus panels, post bid clarifications.


The Person

  • Solid understanding of EU Procurement
  • Good stakeholder management is key
  • Solid interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence and educate key business units the values of good procurement activities
  • Good communication and organisational skills delivering successful outcomes to a ongoing challenging procurement timetable.
  • Candidates must have experience of working with a wide-range of stakeholders with competing/conflicting requirements and having the ability to find workable commercial solutions that will satisfy all parties.
  • Flexibility on travel as there will be a need to be UK wide

Job Offer

My client is looking to offer a day rate of up to £400p/d outside of IR35 for the ideal candidate
