Description



To ensure that work you do meets the required quality standard as indicated in Stock Room Best Practise.



You will work accurately and in accordance with customer systems and processes with an excellent eye for detail and a pragmatic approach to issues.



Key Responsibilities:



• To ensure that the company’s visions and values are upheld.



• To ensure the company’s policies and procedures are maintained.



• To ensure that the company operates within legal requirements.



• To ensure that the health & safety policy is complied with.



• Line Manager to stores, warehouse and repairs staff, providing structure, feedback and guidance to ensure staff are meeting expectations and undertaking management tasks.



• Work closely with Customer Service and Production to ensure good planning and on time deliveries of new orders.



• Develop and review appropriate policies and procedures for the work area and ensuring staff are trained accordingly.



• Setting up new suppliers, product codes and sizing charts on ABS.



• Placing orders with suppliers according to ABS procedures.



• Coordinating and purchasing critical production consumables, ensuring stock level and forecasting demand for production requirements.



• Ensure the work area operates within the Quality framework, managing compliance with procedures.



• Completing goods inwards inspection and any relevant actions taken, on approval receive product into stock.



• Follow up on backlog (outstanding orders) from suppliers should be performed daily or at minimum. Follow up involves extracting reports from ABS.



• To electronically order customer’s badges.



• Prepare, organise and manage stock check of items within the ABS system and correct ABS stock holding and according to Storeroom Best Practise.



• To chase orders with suppliers either electronically or over the telephone.



• Report monthly on non-conforming product to suppliers.



• Monthly reporting KPI‘s and supplier performance.



• Collating all information to management for forecasting for textile spent on core stock.



• To take on projects and work as allocated by manager.



Profile



• Considerable experience of working within a senior role within a similar Stores and Stock management environment.



• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral which have been applied in a business environment.



• Proven ability to work accurately and show excellent attention to detail.



• Able to organise and prioritise a busy workload to meet deadlines and customer expectations.



• Strong team player who shows commitment to the wider organisation working together and adding value to achieve success.



• Able to demonstrate a logical and methodical approach, with experience of using numeracy to support customer requiremen
