A national food products manufacturer and supplier is looking for a Stock Controller to join their main facility in Swansea.

Client Details

Our client is a greatly successful and fast-growing food products manufacturer and supplier. As a direct result of their continued growth and investment they are looking for a Stock Controller to join their main site in Swansea.


  • Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Work as a part of a wider supply chain team to facilitate and improve production and customer service.
  • Ensure all inventory and all stock management systems are maintained accurately, reacting and escalating where appropriate.
  • Oversee and conduct regular inventory audits and counts.
  • Maintain ownership of stock and be able to update stakeholders on the status of deliveries and stock availability.
  • Maintain accuracy of data within software system.
  • Effective control and limitation of wastage.
  • Tracking shipments and addressing delays.
  • Evaluating supplier performance and conformance.

  • Directing and liaising with warehouse staff as appropriate.


  • Proven track-record within stock control, inventory management or similar.
  • Prior experience of implementing warehouse management systems.
  • Previous experience of managing small teams within a fast=paced environment.
  • Excellent understanding of the greater supply chain and issues related therein.
  • IT literate with competencies within advanced Microsoft Excel and experience of an ERP system (ideally SAGE X3).
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with both colleague and management.
  • Fantastic organisation skills.

Job Offer

  • £25,000 - £35,000 (dependant on experience)

  • Monday - Friday
  • 09:00 - 17:00
