Job Description

Strategic Procurement Manager

My client are a leading branded food manufacturing and part of a hugely succesful international Group. They have a recently established procurement function and are now seeking an experienced purchasing manager to develop procurement strategies for the goods and services categories as well as all of the 3rd party manufacturing. Reporting to the Head of Purchasing you will have one direct report and be able to quickly get to grips with a wide range of purchasing challenges including a review of the current approach to purchasing goods and services. Demonstrable experience of applying strategic sourcing techniques to a wide range of expenditure to deliver savings or improved services through excellent purchasing decisions is essential.

Candidates will need to be an experienced procurement professional, commercially astute with demonstrable leadership and coaching skills. You are likely to be a Senior Buyer/Procurement professional with a proven expertise in purchasing within the food manufacturing industry. Please send your details through to[email removed]
