Job Description
This is a new position to join a global manufacturing business based in Yorkshire. This opportunity is a strategic position responsible for setting the strategic direction of procurement and leading the transformation of the discipline from being a buyer/seller relationshipto a commercial alliance and/or partnership, creating seamless project delivery and purchasing activity. Supply base spans across Europe and America and you will liaise with CEO's and Directors across these businesses to create commercial alliances for the business going forward.

Essential Skills must include:
- Vast experience in a procurement functionwithinthe manufacturing industry, involving oil and gas/subsea sectors at a senior level
- Excellent commercial communications
- Success at implementing strategy and developing relationships
- Strong commercial acumen and a creative flair
- Strong influencer and negotiator
Qualifications:
- Degree Educated
- CIPS or MCIPS
A leading global manufacturing business
£50,000 - £70,000 + Excellent Benefits
