Our client is a major provider of building services to the public sector. With a new agreement in place for the construction of public buildings lasting over 30 years, our client is in a very stable and profitable situation and are looking to recruit a sub contract specialist for their procurement team.
In this role you will be responsible for materials procurement although the main focus will be on managing the Sub Contract procurement function and developing strategies to deliver sub contract services in a timely and cost effective manner. Other duties will include:
- review, amend, develop and implement Sub Contract management plan. - Liaise with project management over specific sub contract requirements. - Tendering, negotiation and placement of Sub Contractors, - Develop framework agreements with end users and Sub Contractors - Act as a deputy to procurement manager if requested
