Job Description
International Offshore Engineering company within the Oil & Gas Industry in Surrey are looking for a Subcontracts Engineer/Buyer to work on an ongoing contract basis. Ideal candidate will have experience in Offshore Oil & Gas Subcontracts Procurement.

Offshore Oil & Gas company based in Surrey are looking for a Subcontracts Engineer to join our Procurement team. As part of a team project, you will be in charge to liaise on a daily basis with project managers and engineers in order to understand the type of services/goods you are required to buy. The Subcontract Engineer will need to qualify suppliers and select the one that is the most suited for the work.

The Subcontract Engineer shall report to the Project Procurement Manager.

Main duties:
Issuing of Charter Party for third Party vessel (Tugs, AHTS, barge) and or subcontract for pipeline or heavy lift project (dredging, rockdumping, precommissioning, steel fabrication,…)

Experience required:
Previous experience as Buyer/Subcontract Engineer in Offshore Industry
Knowledge of SAP

The position is on an ongoing Contract basis paying a rate of circa £35.00 per hour.
