This is an exciting and global opportunity in leading aerospace business based in South East London. The role is to manage the production and supply planning across a number materials.

Client Details

The business are a leading aerospace and defence business, creating, designing and manufacturing a number of technical products for global clients around the world.

This position will enable you to enhance your supply chain and management skills, while giving you a clear career path ahead of you, with global opportunities around the world.


The planner will form an integral part of the supply chain team and need to come with a strong, solid background in planning from a manufacturing environment (ideally aerospace, automotive or rail).

  • Prioritise materials through the supporting functions, e.g. Goods In, Stores, Dispatch, Purchasing, Engineering, etc
  • Liaising with the purchasing team on materials availability, quality of supply
  • Control traceability through the shop floor
  • Raise and control Works Orders in line with MRP
  • Control and maintain the fixed period within the Master Schedule in line with materials availability and capacity
  • Work closely with operation leadership specific to forecast and planning activities
  • Maintain MRP parameters in line with company policies


Ideal Candidate:

  • 3 years + background in planning, ideally production planning
  • Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers
  • Experience and knowledge of using MRP systems.
  • Experience within the aerospace industry

Job Offer

up to £34,000 plus 25 days holiday and benefits
