A leading FMCG organisation based in the Greater Manchester area are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Accounts Coordinator to join their team for an excellent opportunity. This is a fast paced, busy role and you will be responsible for managing the planning, receipt and action of all orders/queries to lead time. You will be responsible for ensuring their customers receive a first class service working as a central part of this business' supply chain function.

About the role:
  • Ensure all customer orders are captured and processed (checking stock availability) within the expected timeframe/cut-off/lead time
  • Analyse stock availability vs customer demand on a daily basis whilst reconciling warehouse stocks
  • Maintain and update forecasts to ensure weekly demand meets customers requirements
  • Be the main point of contact for customers and 3pl providers regarding order and delivery queries
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost saving initiatives

About the person:
  • Customer centric mindset
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in fast paced environments
  • SAP skills would be advantageous
  • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Previous experience working within a customer service role working closely with key accounts as part of a supply chain team would be advantageous
