Supply Chain Analyst, Newport, £25k-£27k, immediate start

Your new company
You’ll be working for a company that manufactures and designs automotive based products that are supplied to leading retailers around the UK and worldwide. The company is renowned for its quality and service.

Your new role
You new role will require . Control the forecasting and ordering of product against a challenging set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) alongside forecast future sales demand for all products within the portfolio and manage the product flow through the Supply Chain, maximising on-shelf availability in stores. Your requirements for this role will include creating supplier orders and track successful transmission through to supplier whilst working effectively, cross-functionally, across several business functions up to Category Manager level to support the delivery of the Business Unit objectives. Your role will ask you to engage and communicate with Buyers and Category Managers within Trading, challenging and influencing where appropriate to deliver corporate targets

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will need to demonstrate a strong customer focus whilst having the ability to positively influence up to Senior Manager level. You will need to have good verbal and written presentation skills alongside having the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, be able to work under periods of high pressure and have good negotiation skills. You will be expected to be able to absorb and interpret large amounts of data whilst displaying good numeracy, PC & systems skills and be educated to O Level/GCSE standard.
