The Supply Chain Co-ordinator will support the Operations, Procurement and Planning teams to ensure the development and implementation of effective Supply Chain Planning and control methods.

Client Details

Our Client is a global leader in manufacturing complex components and parts used in the Rail and Commercial vehicles industry.


Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

  • Support the Supply Chain Manager to implement enhanced logistic concepts (procurement, production, sales and distribution, long term planning models etc)
  • Align individual elements of the value added chain to ensure optimal planning (within the framework available from the KB SAP templates)
  • Support Operations, Procurement and the Sales and Operations Planning Team to deliver a SAP based production planning process that meets the needs of the business
  • Support the Operations Department to achieve ‘Best in Class’ transactional processes
  • Provide SAP system support to deliver improvement projects across all UK sites working alongside experts from other SAP modules
  • Proactively engage in continuous improvement projects
  • Support the Supply Chain Manager to deliver inventory KPI target


The successful Candidate will possess;

  • Comfortable working with SAP in a Procurement and/or production planning environment, particularly with PP, MM and WM modules
  • Demonstrable examples of implementing SAP, either from scratch or from a template
  • Demonstrable background in Materials Management and MRP processes
  • Ability to analyse large volumes of information, evaluate and resolve complex issues in a rapidly changing environment
  • Fantastic communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Demonstrable track record in a similar role
  • Flexibility to travel
