Supply Chain Director job with a fantastic FMCG company based in Central London

Your new company
You will join a fantastic growing FMCG company based in Central London. They specialise in healthy food and pride themselves on dishes/servings under 500 calories. The company have been operating for over 20 years but they still hold an energetic, dynamic and entrepreneurial sense internally and externally.

Your new role
You will be responsible for looking after the end-to-end Supply Chain, specifically looking at the strategy to ensure ongoing company growth and looking at innovative ways in which the supply chain can be enhanced. You will manage a small Supply Chain team, looking specifically at service levels, inventory management and waste management. Your role will also include some aspects of procurement, whereby you will be looking at tenders, as well as negotiating and managing contracts, so some experience with this is a huge benefit.

Your role will be focused towards both upstream and downstream of the supply chain focusing on the supplier performance as well as the customer side of things ensuring service levels are met. Within a strategic position, you will be required to analyse any supply chain risks and develop plans to mitigate these.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need extensive supply chain experience within the food industry. Previous experience with the full end-to-end in terms of supply planning, demand planning and looking after a team is essential. Procurement experience is highly desirable and people that have some experience with this will stand a good chance in obtaining a first stage interview. You will need to have examples of leading projects towards continuous improvement and cost saving within the Supply Chain, so highlighting this on your CV is crucial.

As there is an aspect of procurement within the role, you will need to be comfortable with negotiating and be comfortable with influencing internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll get in return
Not only will you receive a competitive remuneration, you will be entitled to an attractive bonus as well as a great benefit package. In addition, you will join an energetic, passionate group of people in an entrepreneurial environment where you will be encouraged to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
