Have you got experienced managing an outsourced supply chain (forecasting and inventory planning, and management of contract manufacturers and 3PLs)? Do you want to work for a very exciting, mission-based SME based in London? Read on!

Client Details

Our client are a publishing SME based in London, with an awesome range of products and a really inspiring mission. They are dynamic, very ambitious and are extremely values-led. They have strong financial backing, exciting NPD plans and a bright future ahead of them! They now need a Supply Chain Manager to own their end to end operation.

The Supply Chain Manager will own their end to end supply chain. This includes forecasting, inventory planning, cost control, management of contract manufacturers and 3PLs, and delivering the operational side of NPD.

They need someone who is very engaged with their products, able to operate in a very fast-moving environment without many established processes, and has real drive to make a difference there.

The Supply Chain Manager needs to be someone who has supply chain experience, and also exposure to print/publishing. So you could come from a Publisher, or from a Print & Packaging background, or from an industry with exposure to that - for example Home Entertainment.

They do not need someone who has ticked every single box technically (although if you have, that is great!). But if you have some exposure to some of forecasting, inventory management, third party management and NPD, then you could well have the transferable skills and knowledge to succeed in this role.

You will also need to be very adaptable, able to work at pace without getting (too!) stressed, comfortable creating processes - rather than relying on them - and a strong stakeholder manager. Being tech-savvy and highly analytical is also needed.

Job Offer

On offer is the chance to really make a difference within a very mission-orientated, values-led business. And of course a strong salary (£45k-£55k) and a great working environment in Central London.
