Working as a Supply Chain Manager for a leading FMCG retail distribution business earning up to £40,000.


Your new company
This market leading entrepreneurial business is now seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join them team to help deliver their growth plans over the middle and long term. Having gained a wide range of exposure on TV; this business has rapidly grown from an SME to the market leading business in their sector.


Your new role
In this supply Chain Manager role, you will be expected to manage a team of 3 direct reports and indirectly around 30 colleagues whom are based at a different site. You will be expected to be involved in all parts of the supply chain from sourcing products, negotiating prices, ensuring the arrive to the businesses JIT delivery standards. You will be given control of your budget and be expected to deliver significant growth and savings throughout your career with this fantastic inventive business.


What you'll need to succeed
Having worked within a Supply Chain Manager, Procurement Manager or a Senior Buyer role for around 3 years, you will have the basic required reporting experience. You will have a working understanding of MRP systems and an understanding of importation plus exportation laws. Ideally you'll have experience of working with short lead times and sourcing products from the EMEA.


What you'll get in return
you will be paid an annual salary of up to £40,000. In addition to this, you will be entitled to up to £1,000 worth of training per year and a generous bonus scheme dependent upon personal and company performance.
