Supply Chain Manager, £30,000-£40,000, Greater Manchester, Global Manufacturing Company

Your new company

This Client is a Global Manufacturing Company based within Greater Manchester and they are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their team.

Your new role

In this role you will be; accurately recording inventory levels, controlling stock movement including inbound, outbound and internal stock, ensuring compliance to quality policies, managing sales forecasting whilst looking to improve forecasting accuracy and maintain ISO 9001 quality management certification. This will include; managing stock control/levels, managing the processing of customer orders & complaints, including 2 direct reports, creating monthly sales reports and providing analytical expertise in relation to performance and managing the warehousing operations.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally you will be strong-minded with a can-do attitude and not be afraid to get stuck in. However, you will definitely need demonstrable experience in Supply Chain Management, understanding of international logistics and be confident in using IT systems such as Word and Excel. Furthermore, you will need to have strong communication skills across all levels of a business, including Customer interaction and take ownership of any issues that may arise.

What you'll get in return

You will receive a competitive salary of between £30,000-£40,000 dependent on experience as well as additional benefits.
Please note, your hours of work will be 8:30am-5pm.
