Supply Chain Manager role based in [link removed]im with negotiable salary up to £60,000 plus bonus and company car

Your new company
Working for a leading and well-established UK employer, this firm has grown massively over the years and just established a new collaboration with a US firm which will promote expansion in the coming months. They are seeking a new Supply Chain Manager to control end-to-end processes on their [link removed]im facility, on a full time permanent basis. This new position will sit on the company’s senior panel with responsibility over various departments to act as a key decision maker, with opportunity to progress alongside the organisations predicted growth.

Your new role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing various departments across Purchasing, Stores, Planning, Continuous Improvement and Technical whilst driving a new implementation of SAP to use cross-functionally. You will provide strategic direction by overseeing weekly production to set forecast plans that will optimise the supply of raw materials and waste management. Furthermore, you will be required to maintain professional relationships with global suppliers and customers alike to implement continuous improvement initiatives at a senior level and provide ongoing support to all internal teams. Also, you will manage budget targets for material and adhere to supply chain department KPI’s such as audit inspections, variances and overheads, employee engagement, improved results and overall service levels.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous 5+ supply chain management and leadership experience within the FMCG/Manufacturing industry along with effective people management skills would lead to success, along with ability to adapt a culture of change and assist with MRP/ERP advancement. Also, you will be able to demonstrate successful planning capability, problem solving, supplier relationship management and contract/price negotiations. HACCAP, IOSH, CIPS or supply chain related qualifications would be desirable but not essential.

What you'll get in return
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a growing and leading UK business, who are continuously expanding operations across all sites with a new ERP implementation to take place this year which this role will be actively involved with. You will be rewarded with a fully negotiable salary in line with UK marker average up to £60,000 plus private healthcare, company pension and a company car or monthly allowance plus annual fixed bonus.
