Based in Surrey, this is an exciting opportunity for to lead the strategy across the whole end to end supply chain, including planning, procurement and inventory management. You will be working closely with engineering, operations and quality departments to find, evaluate, approve and develop key suppliers on the basis of specific metrics including; technical ability, quality, on time delivery and cost.

Description

The Role
  • Manage the end to end supply chain (Planning, procurement Inventory, Warehousing & after market services)
  • Upskilling the supply chain team
  • Develop and integrate supply chains processes through to add value at various points
  • Enhance and develop key relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiating with suppliers in order to get the best price without compromising on quality.
  • Managing risk, ensuring quality and enabling a collaborative environment.
  • The development and growth of strategic supplier agreements for all suppliers



Profile

Experience & Knowledge required
    • Proven track record within supply chain management and implementing business process solutions to improve supply chain processes. Including inventory management and improving inventory turn levels
    • Experience of leading and managing complex projects
    • Experience managing and developing a team
    • Strong time management, planning and prioritising skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders and achieve buy-in from internal and external key stakeholders
    • Excellent Negotiation skills
    • Versatile and adaptable


    • Great problem solving skills





Job Offer

Up to £60,000 plus bonus and benefits
