Supply Chain with in depth experience of NPI needed for new role in Devon

Your new company

Global business with a site in Devon seeks Supply Chain Manager with strong skill set in New Product Introductions for opportunity in its expanding business.

Your new role

Your new role will see you to manage the Supply Chain for my client, all the way from R&D, through the Supply Chain onto sustainable production and supply to the customer.

Your duties include (but are not limited to):

• Program Manage entire Supply Chain process from product concept, through Supply Chain to sustainable production with focus on:
  • Volume
  • Quality
  • Cost

• Program schedule management
• Product cost management
• Manage factory prototypes and pilot builds
• Manage the logistics for 3PL providers
• Be the primary supply chain interface to engineering
• Capacity planning
• Prototype material and ramp clear to build
• Communicate any issues to management, effectively escalating business impacting situations.
• Participate in department project meetings as needed.

What you'll need to succeed

To be chosen for the role you must possess the following experience/attributes:
  • Experience in introducing new products into a manufacturing Supply Chain
  • Experience handling shifting work patterns across a range of projects
  • The ability to work autonomously with a strong attention to detail
  • Experience managing an ERP/MRP system
  • Experience managing a global supply chain
  • Ability to communicate with various levels of management including executives.
