Purpose of roles / key responsibilities
• Design, develop and implement spend category sourcing & supply management strategies • Build and develop appropriate supplier relationships • Drive Supplier performance to deliver contracted obligations • Understand and robustly manage supply chain risk • Contribute to and influence delivery of “make v buy” business decisions • Balance cost savings with revenue opportunities and deliver our customer promise • Understand, interpret and respond to data analysis, KPI’s and benchmarking findings • Inspire colleagues and share best practice for the best results of the team. • Work with the wider Operations team to deliver service & cost performance improvements in complete alignment with strategy • Ensure customers needs are fully embraced and at the heart of all delivery.
Additional Information: • The roles require some UK travel • This team has frequent & regular exposure at a senior management level and significant interaction with external stakeholders - potential candidates may be attracted to the roles if they have excellent relationship management skills and the ability to identify, recommend, implement and manage change which drives benefit for the business.
