My client, a global manufacturing company based in Farnborough, have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Planner / Supply Chain Controller to join their expanding Supply Chain function.

The role of the successful Supply Planner / Supply Chain Controller is to support all aspects of the Sales & Operations planning process

The Supply Planner / Supply Chain Controller will be responsible for -

- Help to initiate and drive forward a new S&OP process
- In conjunction with the Supply Chain Operations Manager lead all S&OP processes
- Prepare, analyse and submit both long and short term forecast data
- Analyse customer and statistical Forecasts and provide analytical reports to the wider team on a monthly basis
- Provide insight and analysis on trends and risks to key stakeholders through constant monitoring
- Work closely with the demand planners on Customer Forecasts ensuring trends are identified and replicated in INFOR
- Lead PIPO process activities (phase in/phase out) ensuring slow moving stock, end of life trends and new demand is identified and integrated into forecasts with changes highlighted to all relevant stakeholders
- Highlight shortages and capacity constraint possibilities as soon as possible
- Continually review forecasts and schedules to promote performance improvements and cost efficiencies
- Perform weekly and monthly administrative tasks in relation to the Forecasting process
- Responsible for extracting consistent and accurate data
- Manage master data within INFOR
- System administration
- Participate in Supply Chain improvement projects
- Support other areas of Supply Chain operations

The ideal Supply Planner / Supply Chain Controller will have -

Successful and demonstrable experience in
- a position of the same or similar nature (E)
- best practice forecasting and/or Demand Planning (E)
- problem solving, planning, organising, driving for results and stakeholder management (E)
- organisational core competencies (E)
- Comprehensive working knowledge / experience of SAP ERP system (E).
- Professional and Confident utilisation of MS Office applications; specifically Excel to an ‘advanced’ level (E)
- Working knowledge of the forecasting tool INFOR (Highly Desirable)
- Effective prioritisation/time management skills and an obsessive attention to detail (E)
- Ability to work autonomously and within a small team (E)
- Ability to work under pressure and highly adaptable to changing priorities (E)
- Proficient communication skills; written & oral (E)
- Degree educated within a Supply Chain, Business or Economics discipline would be advantageous
