My client an instantly recognisable consumer business in based in London is looking for a Supply Planner to join their team. My client is a customer focused, dynamic business with a close knit team and have a great culture! My client is a multi-national business with operations based in various countries across the globe. The company’s network consists of service offices, production and distribution worldwide.

The Supply Planner will have responsibility for executing supply chain and inventory based activities. This will include the creation and management of supply plans, end to end capacity planning, and contingency planning as required, to assure the highest levels of customer service and the most efficient low cost solutions are achieved for the platform and its clients.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Accountable for successful collaboration with Clients and Suppliers to prioritise and deliver supply planning services that meet or exceed the business needs
  • Escalate any concerns around numbers/timing to Client
  • Responsible for the integrity of the supply and delivery plans for assigned products
  • Monitor demand data for campaign product through the forecasting cycle
  • Responsible for owning client and supplier relationships where appropriate, including issue resolution management, performance management and process/procedure development.
  • KPI reporting, including reviewing the performance of Suppliers to deliver OTIF, their level of customer service and product quality
  • Ongoing evaluation of current systems and processes

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Degree educated or equivalent working experience
  • Proven experience in a supply chain role
  • Proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Excel – Pivot Tables VLOOKUP
  • Embraces teamwork; shares ideas / methods to improve performance but also able to work autonomously
  • Ability to analyse data and trends, make educated conclusions and provide recommendations in a clear and concise manner
  • Demonstrates experience in extracting and segmenting data to facilitate data analysis.
  • Manages timelines and prioritises work activities; plans and stays organised in order to meet commitment and productivity standards.
