Supply Chain Manager

£40,000 - £45,000pa + benefits
Great opportunity in Wimbledon for a Supply Chain Manager who is used to operating in a lean manufacturing environment and dealing with an international customer base.
This innovative products are used across the world and the talented individual who steps into the role of leading and developing the Purchasing, Planning, Customer Service and Warehouse departments will have a thorough understanding of Supply Chain and Demand Planning principles including ERP and CRM. Additionally, you will have experience of Production Processing, including knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximising the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Essentially, you will be an analytically / statistically minded and focussed individual who isn’t afraid to make decisions or challenge the status quo. Furthermore, you will have the capacity to identify, develop and implement strategies within the Supply Chain to reduce waste, raise competitiveness and implement Continuous Improvement activities. In addition to managing and supporting the planning function to development short, medium and long term forecasts and ensuring the creation and execution of an efficient production plan, you will manage the Customer Service team.
Minimum of 3 years experience in an Operations / Logistics role.
Experience in dealing with Asia based Suppliers.
Familiar with an ERP system (preferably Dynamics NAV) and a CRM system (preferably Salesforce)
Candidates will be educated to degree level HNC in Engineering or Supply Chain Discipline with emphasis on Logistics.
And/Or Advanced Diploma in Operations Management and MIOM or other Engineering Institution.
Demonstrated experience in business systems implementation or use is required.
Familiar with, or has worked in, Lighting or Electroncs Industry for 2/3 Years Minimum
