An exciting opportunity in a well established transport department has arisen. Due to growth we are working with a business who are looking for someone to join their organisation as a planner and work their way up through the business.

Client Details

The client are a well established SME that are looking to grow their busy transport department.

Description

Main Duties include:

Plan vehicles and loads daily to ensure best utilisation of fleet and correct vehicle usage

Ensure WTD and driver hour regulations are adhered to

Monitor UK traffic flow and communicate potential issues to drivers

Process digital tachographs for drivers and vehicles

Carry out License Checks

Driver delivery documentation

Complete long trailer record daily

Manage back loads to maximise fleet utilisation

Profile

The successful candidate will ideally be degree educated with a couple of years transport experience. Heavy haulage experience is preferable.



A driven and enthusiastic individual who is looking to grow and develop their career would be well suited.

Job Offer

On offer to the candidate is a competitive salary of between £20,000 and £28,000 dependant on experience. Progression throughout the transport department is the long term offer with a clear route to the top in place.
