An exciting new vacancy has arisen at our operation in Rugby . The role is within a team based environment, from which we provide a delivery service dedicated to our customers.



Client Details



3PL



Description

•Ensure driver and vehicle availability to agreed levels.



•Support legal compliance and safety management.



•Front-line link between customer, hauliers and drivers to ensure first class communication and that service KPIs are met



•Tracking of hauliers and core-fleet drivers to ensure collection and delivery times are met



•Working with the customer in providing critical feedback on operational issues



•Booking in and out of hauliers on site – with a particular emphasis on the stringent levels of H&S required by the customer



•Loading/delivery tickets despatched accurately at all times



•Briefing/ de-briefing of core-fleet drivers



•Maintenance issues dealt with and recorded as required – supporting the Transport Supervisor and Transport Shift Manager as appropriate



•Daily updates required to be sent at various points of the day



•Management of POD’s



•Reporting of weekly/monthly data in line with business requirements.



•Finance undertaking on a weekly basis

Profile



•Experience in front line transport operations, dealing with customers, hauliers drivers



•Analytical thinker with excellent planning and organisation skills



•PC literate



•Excellent communication skill



•Customer focussed



•Proactive understanding of H&S



•Ability to fully understand transport and customer policies



•Excellent team player whilst able to work on own initiative



•Excellent problem solving skills



•Finance Knowledge required



•Flexible approach to working hours required as 24/7 operation



Job Offer

A salary of £18,000 + benefits
