The Transport Administrator will co-ordinate the effective running of the Transport operation, providing adminstrative support to the senior management team and customers. This is a full time role based on the clients site in close proximity to St. Helens.

A well recognised UK retailer with Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain operations based around the UK.

Description

The role of the Transport Administrator:
  • Inputting of customer information to the database along with orders and quotations
  • Liaising with drivers and customers providing support and handling queries
  • Use of TMS
  • Use of email and phone to keep in touch with customers and update them on estimated delivery times
  • Provide driver debriefs
  • Monitoring KPI's and creating reports





Profile

What the successful Transport Administrator will look like:
  • Previous experience within a transport office is essential
  • Be able to liaise and deal with drivers
  • Be able to manage and prioritise workload
  • Be flexible with shifts to meet demands of the business

Job Offer

Salary: £17,600

Hours: Monday - Friday (days) 40 hour per week
