Reporting to the Senior IT Supplier Manager, the IT Commercial Analyst will support the management and control supplier contracts, covering the complete commercial lifecycle of the supplier relationship to a consistent and effective Governance regime.

IT is key to the success of the business from innovative and exciting new ways to engage customers through providing the tools for people to do their job, all the way to keeping data secure.  IT will be a fundamental enabler for business growth as technology is used more and more to underpin the complete customer experience.

 

What you will be doing

Commercial Management

Take Accountability for elements of the commercial management of allocated IT suppliers ensuring that the services delivered meet the business requirements.
Manage elements of the commercial relationship with the suppliers including billing, savings and change. Coordinate the enforcement of contractual penalties and record costs savings, cost avoidance and improved terms and conditions.

Supplier Management

Manage the suppliers within the agreed Governance framework, including documenting actions and following up to ensure delivery of commitments.
Monitor the delivery of appropriate reporting (against SLA’s, BBS, OLA’s as appropriate) to support the Governance framework and follow up actions identified through reporting.
Manage work requests to ensure cost effective, efficient and timely provision of changes. Operate the procedures used to procure services, equipment and resources from the suppliers.
Manage and execute stakeholder engagement plans – including renewal road map reviews.
Work with the business, IT, finance and the suppliers to ensure procurement processes are used to maximise the return on the IT budget and to ensure that the correct financial processes are followed. Ensure accurate recording of all spend to provide timely reporting.

Sourcing Strategy

Support the management of the lifecycle of the supplier contracts including, identifying the needs, considering options, selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, renewing contracts, and terminating contracts. Interface with the business units and other TUI departments (Procurement, Legal, etc.) as appropriate.  Maintain database of contract information, provide analysis and comment on relevant contracts. 

Budget:

Support the management of the Opex budget for allocated category of suppliers of up to £30m pa.

 

What we are looking for

Excellent communication skills to maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers, strong team player.

Experience of IT contract negotiations including hardware/software maintenance, software licensing, professional services and managed services on contracts of up to £1m pa.

Meticulous attention to detail and rigorous retention of auditable documents/records.

Excellent analytical skills and a working knowledge of accounting principles, practices and terminology, together with Financial modelling and planning skills.
