Warehouse and Facilities Manager, Warrington, £30,000-£35,000, Manufacturing Company

This highly experienced Manufacturing Company are looking for an experienced Warehouse and Facilities Manager to join their team in Warrington.

Your new role

In this role you will be; accurately recording inventory levels, controlling stock movement including inbound, outbound and internal stock, ensuring shipping documentation is completed to Customer and Regional standards, participating in quality meetings, ensuring compliance to quality policies, actively participate in continuous improvement events, initiate in process improvements and actively promote a continuous improvement culture. This will include; maintaining high standards of health and safety, hygiene and security, producing reports and statistics regularly to manage the team’s performance, Initiating and enforcing optimal operational policies and procedures and managing stock control including stock rotation and accuracy.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally you will be strong-minded with a can-do attitude and not be afraid to get stuck in. However, you will definitely need demonstrable experience in Warehouse Management including experience in SLA/KPI improvement, a strong knowledge of health & safety procedures and be confident in using IT systems such as Word and Excel as well as ERP and WMS. Furthermore, you will need to have a good understanding of lean Six Sigma and related principles and tools and experience of driving change to satisfy growth and continuous improvement.

What you'll get in return

You will receive a competitive salary of between £30,000-£36,000 dependent on experience.
