Management of a large fast paced warehouse that is set to become the largest in the network as it takes on rapid expansion plans. Manage a changing culture to ensure the site's performance is maintained whilst the workforce is engaged.

Client Details

Leading 3rd party logistics company.

  • Ensure customer service targets are exceeded on a constant basis.
  • Create and maintain a positive working environment.
  • Develop / improve on budgeted cost and profit.
  • Manage and develop relationship with Trade unions.
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage Key Performance indicators (KPI) to meet contractual terms and company expectations.
  • Change management and leadership.
  • Develop a strategic plan for the development of the department.
  • Team building and development through succession planning.
  • Responsibility for all issues relating to health and safety and the environment within the warehouse department.
  • Working in conjunction with the depot management team, assist in increasing the depots profit.
  • Identifying and developing the potential of all team members.
  • Ensure the daily activity is completed on time to ensure no operational impact on the site, out-bases and regional supply chain and achieves all targets and allows for continuous improvement in both service and cost control.
  • Assist in the preparation of budget and QBR models
  • Monitor and record analyse and report on activities, trends results and make recommendations relating department improvements as required.

  • Proven track record of planning and forecasting
  • Budge management and cost controls
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a pressurised and unionised environment
  • 5+ years warehouse management experience
