Your new company An experienced Warehouse Manager is desired to work with a road haulage and storage business operating across multiple sites across the UK. They are seeking a resilient individual with a passion for their own development to grow alongside the company and as part of their operation.
Your new role The role as a Warehouse Manager will be to manage the day to day running of the operation ensuring orders are completed to an accurate and timely manner. The role is fast passed and requires a hands on approach to be successful. Working with a small team initially with a view to progress towards the development side of the operation working alongside the developments team of implementing projects across the country. You will use your position to ensure a continued drive toward the development of your warehouse team, whether through reviews, disciplinary's, or day to day motivation of those around you. You will be an adaptable people person, resilient and able to drive and motivate a team of operatives.
What you'll need to succeed As the successful Warehouse Manager you will be an effective planner and will understand the order of priority in a warehouse environment. You will possess excellent attention to detail and maintain a positive and reliable approach to your work. You will have a proven track record of managing a project from start to finish, have the ability to work well under pressure and have a strong work ethic.
You will be resilient and able to drive a team of operatives. Experience in working in a warehouse environment managing people is highly desired however character plays a big part for the successful candidate. The ideal candidate will be looking for a long term career with progression as we are looking to develop and expand the warehouse division of the business. They want someone who is driven, dynamic and who can grow with the company.
