An opportunity to join an expanding privately owned company which offers a range of end-to-end supply chain services by road, rail and sea.

Your new role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehousing Professional to join our team and play a pivotal role managing multi Customer contracts. Located at their flagship site in Glasgow the successful candidate will be responsible for a team of over 40 employees and a significant fleet list of plant and equipment. The Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the customer service delivery, customer relationships, health & safety and equipment management to employee engagement, training and [link removed] will have responsibility for the warehouse function and yard [link removed] will regularly monitor all aspects of the operation and organisation, proposing and implementing improvement and cost out initiatives. You will also contribute to the development of the strategy for the business as a member of the Senior Management team.

What you'll need to succeed

You must be a strong people manager with knowledge and experience in warehouse management. Strong knowledge of business, finance and management principles and solid IT skills. You will also be a good at influencing and leading problem solving and time management. Strong customer service skills , H&S management and budget control.
