Aldi have eight Regional Head Offices across the UK and two in Ireland. Within each one there is a Regional Distribution Centre, made up of three key areas: Transport, Warehouse and Maintenance. These work together to provide our stores with a world-class service.

About the department - Warehouse

Our Regional Distribution Centres are vast, busy environments with a constant buzz of activity.  You’ll find Selectors picking goods for our stores, forklift trucks whizzing around loading everything onto vehicles, and Logistics Assistants checking pallets and keeping the warehouse nice and tidy.  It’s a very efficient, professional, ‘lean’ environment, where we never waste a minute.  Everyone knows their role inside out and we all work together as a supportive team.  While everyone’s goal is the same - to ensure the right goods reach the right stores in the most efficient way - roles vary greatly in terms of activities and challenges.
 

Warehouse Section Manager

With our superb Regional Distribution Centres and first-class equipment, you’ll have everything you need to keep things moving efficiently in this senior role. Reporting to the Logistics Director, you’ll be a natural leader skilled in managing a large team of Warehouse Section Leaders, Deputies, Selectors, Assistants and Apprentices. Under your guidance, the team will be focused and ready to tackle every challenge.

Responsibilities are many and varied. Above all, you’re looking to achieve high service levels at all times, while ensuring an efficient and co-operative working environment. For Aldi, it’s all about optimising productivity and keeping a tightly controlled inventory and accurate accounts. You will also take responsibility for the many personnel challenges involved, from assessing potential hires to maintaining good retention levels.

£68,100 rising to £73,450 after 1 year
5-day week, will include weekends
