Description
As Warehouse Supervisor your responsibilities will include:
Contribute to the daily delivery of service through effective process delivery.
Investigate and challenge errors as appropriate utilising available resources.
Monitor individual and departmental performance providing feedback as appropriate
Lead, motivate and coach a team of operatives, developing talent to implement a succession plan. Deliver regular one to ones, manage all aspects of sickness absence, disciplinary processes and employee relations management.
Minimise stock loss and shortages to support the business KPI’s and P&L.
Manage the team headcount within pre-agreed budgetary levels.
Deliver efficiency's through effective execution of 5S principles.
Deliver and role model a culture of health, safety and environment, including awareness of individual and corporate responsibilities regarding health and safety.
Ensure all near misses are reported in a timely manner and all follow up completed.
Drive good housekeeping at all times within area
Profile
To be considered for the role of Warehouse Supervisor you must be able to comfortably demonstrate:
Strong leadership and previous people management experience
Experience within a distribution centre or production environment
Knowledge of warehouse systems
Good organisational skills and the ability to work methodically
Ability to deliver continuous improvement
