I am currently looking to engage dynamic Warehouse Team Leaders across the Nottinghamshire area, for a world-leading manufacturing business. The successful Team Leader will have progression at the fore-front of their minds and will have strong man-management and health & safety skills.

Client Details

My client is a world-leading business in the region of manufacturing. They manufacture products for a mixture different industries, mainly that of building & construction trades. Their manufacturing plant in Nottinghamshire has been in situ for over 30 years and they are seeing large scale growth across the site. Current employees of the business enjoy a strong family culture with a high level of employee retention across the business.


As a Warehouse Team Leader you will report directly into the Warehouse Manager; and in turn into the site Operations Manager. You will be solely responsible for the performance of your small team of 20 colleagues and health & safety is additionally paramount.
  • You will lead your team of colleagues to achieve operational tasks in a safe, timely and cost effective manner, in line with our customers requirements.
  • You will set and monitor all KPI's within the manual pick warehouse.
  • You will be expected to train, develop and motivate your time to ensure job satisfaction is achieved.
  • Utilise continuous improvement methods to ensure operation effectiveness is accurately achieved and improved upon.
  • To ensure all health & safety requirements are adhered to; and to follow-up on infringements.
  • To carry out all HR processes and ensure staff are compliant with procedures.
  • Support upper management in all incident and accident investigations.
  • To manage effective our third party sub-contract providers.


The successful Warehouse Team Leader should have the following skills & experience:
  • 3+ years experience in a leadership position within logistics.
  • A strong background / essence upon health & safety - ideally IOSH / NEBOSH qualified.
  • Experience managing directly small teams of around 20 colleagues.
  • Proven history with managing HR processes and procedures.
  • Commutable within the wider Nottinghamshire area.
  • Desirably a degree level of education (BA / BSc / BEng).
  • History within a manufacturing environment would be strongly desirable.
  • Experience within CI projects.
