Acting as the Assistant Buyer you will be working closely with Procurement Manager to deal wit hall procurement related matters across the university. You will be responsible for the P2P system, ensuring users are able to operate the system effectively. You will also take over the contract management for 2 important contracts. As you develop in the role, you will be expected to assist the Procurement Manager on more complex procurement projects.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience of using P2P systems will be essential. You will need to be proactive and keen to develop relationships across the organisation.
