Buyer Job in Bristol, £10 - £15 per hour, 6-month interim contract

Hays Procurement are pleased to be assisting a leading organisation in Bristol in the recruitment of two Buyers to join their busy team.
Your new role
You will act as purchasing lead for low value purchasing activities, support the Procurement Manager and Procurement Category Leads with day to day purchasing administration tasks as well as advising internal colleagues around the sourcing processes to ensure correct guidelines are followed.
You will capture purchasing requirements from internal staff, draft requests for quotations, raise requisitions and obtain relevant approvals, raise Purchase Orders, liaise with suppliers, as well as negotiate value of quotations with suppliers with the aim to achieve cost savings.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience within a procurement or finance team, strong commercial skills with the ability to analyse and negotiate best value purchases as well as being competent with Microsoft Office and confident using Microsoft Excel.
What you'll get in return
These roles are being offered with the hourly rates between £10 - £15 on a 6-month interim contract initially.
