You will be working with a global FM organisation based in their Birmingham Head Office.
Your new role
As the new Buyer, you will be working within the Soft FM team in this global procurement function. You will be responsible for the assisting in the management of the category, sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, monitoring supplier performances and maintaining great relationships with all vendors. You will be specialising in cleaning, catering and security contracts.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the Buyer role, you will have a strong procurement and buying background. You will be able to communicate to suppliers and stakeholders nationally and you will be confident enough to manage tough conversations and negotiations. You will be proactive, have strong commercial awareness and autonomous.
Ideally, you will have previous soft services experience within your background.
What you'll get in return
A salary of £25,000 - £35,000 + additional benefits
