You will be working for a well respected and growing central government body who are placing a big focus on procurement growth.
Your new role
As Category Manager you will be responsible for spend within the organisations infrastructure team. You will report into the Senior Category Manager and be responsible for delivering continuous improvement within your team. You will contribute to special projects, mentoring and coaching team members and leading on commercial engagement within your categories. You will play a key strategic role in the role of category plans and also the relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have an in-depth background in category management and implementation of category strategies. You will have proven experience in influence and managing relationships with stakeholders and suppliers and leading on contract negotiations.
