Description

The key responsibilities of the Category Manager are:

Providing strategic procurement across a range of categories
Delivering savings against manufacturing budget
Reducing the number of suppliers
Engaging in strategic relationships with suppliers
Stakeholder engagement at all levels

Profile

The Category Manager will have:

Previous purchasing experience within a major manufacturing company with a strong understanding of the UK equipment and contractor market
Experience in tackling both CAPEX and OPEX spends
Ideally a degree achieved within a Business discipline
Experience of leading change through cross-functional teams
A proactive, hands-on and results-orientated attitude
