A leading Technology firm in the heart of Surrey is looking for a Global Category Manager to define Procurement strategy across the Professional Services category.
This FTSE 100 company has undergone a major Procurement transformation and is in the process of embedding category management across the business.
Mandate has recently been granted at Board level, giving Procurement authority to involve themselves in all spend.
Role & Requirements:
- Implement global category strategies delivering year on year cost reduction and value for money across all Professional Services sub-categories: Travel, Contingent & Permanent Recruitment, Employee Benefits, Learning & Development, Consulting and Legal Services
- Spend responsibility of £80-85m
- Increase visibility of Procurement, demonstrating the value of a strategic function and building strong relationships with key business stakeholders
- Manage suppliers, consoliding supply base and reducing tail spend
