Based in South East Kent our client are a leading, global, electronic connector manufacturing company. This role sits within their successful Kent site which specialises in design and manufacture of a diverse range of products for highly regulated and demanding sectors.
The Commercial Coordinator will be responsible for making sure all non-standard products, i.e. new products, design changes and bespoke specials are planned accurately, launched on time and in accordance with the commercial process.
The commercial process includes a commercial route plan, risk assessment, production readiness review, obsolescence review and contract review.
Determine the level of planning required for each Commercial Route Plan and prepare the Commercial route Plan
Undertake, in conjunction with the Contract Compliance Manager, Contract Compliance reviews to ensure conformity with contractual commitments
Ensuring appropriate obsolescence reviews are performed to check the availability and reliability of supply chains
On completion of all stages in the commercial process you will advise lead times for non-standard products and update the customer services team on the status of availability.
Ensure that the MIS system is updated to ensure that the business has full visibility of the status of each stage
Represent your product portfolio in customer meetings such as Quarterly Business Reviews, performance reviews and continuous improvement reviews
Proactively manages customer complaints and improvement plans
