You will be working for an Internationally recognised manufacturing business, based in North Yorkshire.
Your new role
As the Commercial & Purchasing Manager, you will be tasked with providing the commercial and contractual point of contact for external customers and internal departments, working in close support to the Head of Commercial. You will be responsible for the selection of suppliers and to take a lead in tender evaluations, negotiations and placement of orders. Alongside this, you be supporting the commercial and contractual aspects during the bid phase of projects whilst also observing and ensuring all compliance and legal policies are met.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be qualified to degree level or equivalent and hold membership to a recognised professional body such as CIPS etc. You will also have a working knowledge of contracts and standard contracting terms for supply of goods and services. Experience of negotiating and managing suppliers would be also be beneficial as well as an in depth knowledge of pricing, terms and conditions.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a very competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 depending on experience, whilst also having access to a strong benefits package.
