Demand Planner

This company is a fast-moving manufacturer, stockist & distributor within the pharmaceutical industry based in S. Yorkshire. They embed a clear goal to inspire individuals throughout their business and pride themselves on putting Health and Wellbeing at the heart of everything they do.


As an Demand Planner, you will be responsible for co-ordinating effectively between both customers and distributes to ensure a seamless flow of supply is achieved. An understanding of cost is key in this role.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Analyse stock levels and make decisions about purchase quantities and delivery frequency in line with the stock policies

  • Liaise with Warehouse staff to ensure effective load management, considering daily intake capacity and warehouse capacity for specific articles

  • Adopt a culture in which the focus on outstanding customer service and on time and in full delivery is at the heart of every decision made

  • Embraces new thinking and adopts a continuous improvement approach to ongoing enhancement of performance and efficiency of processes


The successful Demand Planner will have experience in planning & forecasting, ideally with a good knowledge of excel systems. An understanding of cost is crucial in this role. A demonstrable background in co-ordinating between suppliers and internal stakeholders is preferable.
