This global food retail organization is looking for an experienced Distribution Manager to manage the complex portfolio of distributors and re-distributors across several core market in Europe. As the business continues to grow and increase its network of franchises in Europe, to need for more effective and efficient management of the distribution network increases with it to ensure the consistent delivery of service to all branches.

As the European Distribution Manager you will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve operations, set and monitor KPIs and collaborate with purchasing and supply chain teams to collaborate business improvement projects

Further responsibilities of the European Distribution Manager will include:-

• Delivering a standardized process to be implemented across all distributors
• Analyze existing business processes to identify risks as well as opportunities for improvement and innovation
• Support purchasing team on tendering and market evaluation of new suppliers in line with operational needs
• Participate on global distribution projects and implementing appropriate measures at regional and local level

The European Distribution Manager should have:-

• Fluency in English and French; German is also highly beneficial
• A proven track record of working in a similar supply chain or distribution role; preferably in a retail, food or hospitality industry
• Excellent analytical skills to decipher complex business data
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to manage an extensive list of internal and external customers
